Heather and I (Donna) are very excited to attend the ILCA Conference in San Diego!
It will be so much fun to meet so many of these wonderful lactation consultants who work very hard everyday to make sure we are comfortable before, during and after our birth experience! They really want us to enjoy the process of breastfeeding. We are hoping to meet with our wonderful lactation consultant for Blessed Nest, Danielle.
Here is a little bit about the ILCA......
The International Lactation Consultant Association (ILCA) is the professional association for International Board Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLCs) and other health care professionals who care for breastfeeding families.
Their vision is a worldwide network of lactation professionals. Their mission is to advance the profession of lactation consulting worldwide through leadership, advocacy, professional development, and research.
We are busy packing our bags and finishing up all that we have to do to get ready for the show including packing the kiddo's stuff. I am so fortunate that we get to make this a family vacation too!! Heather arrives today into The O.C. and we hit the road on Tuesday. We will have notes from the road when we return along with great pictures and our 13 favorite things about San Diego.
