Coffee Break......


I am taking a coffee break from Thursday 13. Look at this dessert! Yummy, easy and low in calories. Have a wonderful Thursday and enjoy your coffee break today!


Frozen Coffee Crunch Dessert

Creamy low-fat vanilla ice cream is blended with coffee and chocolate cookies for a frosty treat!

Cooking Method: No Cook
Prep Time: 20
Cooking Time: 10-20 minutes

Makes: 10 servings (1 slice each)


1 tablespoon hot water
2 tablespoons instant coffee granules
1 quart (4 cups) lowfat vanilla ice cream, softened
8 chocolate sandwich cookies, coarsely chopped
Reddi-wip® Fat Free Dairy Whipped Topping, (optional)
Maraschino cherries, (optional)


Add hot water to instant coffee in small cup; stir until dissolved. Place ice cream in medium bowl. Add coffee and chopped cookies; stir until well blended.
Spoon into 9-inch springform pan.
Freeze 4 hours, or until firm. Cut into 10 slices to serve. Garnish with Reddi-wip and cherries, if desired. Store leftover dessert in freezer.
