We love Mod*Mom too! Mod*Mom was one of the first blogs I began to read or view when I entered the blog world. Now after hanging out in the blogosphere for a while I can still honestly say that her blog is one of my favorites and one of the best. It is so fresh and fun. Her interests are mod, modern, futuristic + space-age design, technology, music, books, blogs + adventures. I have to add give a ways...she has some of the best on her blog! I entered the contest, left my comment but wanted to post a little more about a women I know who has been battling breast cancer for over 20 years. I worked for Anita several years ago. She is a designer and business owner in the children's clothing industry. I love her as a friend and colleague and have been amazed and encouraged by her story, her journey. Anita was first diagnosed in her 20's and has battled with breast cancer off and on throughout the years. She has had her ups and downs but has always been determined to not give up or give in. A couple of years ago she made it to the 5 year mark in her remission. This is the first time she has made it to the 5 year mark! I am encouraged that in the past 20 years there has been so much progress in the cure for breast cancer. With all of us doing just a little to further the cause maybe sooner than later there will be a cure! Mod*Mom was also diagnosed with breast cancer in 2003.
